Your Sekford timepiece is guaranteed for a period of two (2) years starting on the purchase date, covering all manufacturing defects during regular use as stated in following terms: Sekford Ltd. will replace free of charge any defective component due to a manufacturing error, duly noted by our technical services. Your watch is under warranty for a period of two years from the date on the Warranty Certificate, signed and stamped by an authorized Sekford Retailer.
The Guarantee Does Not Include
— General wear and tear
— Damage to any part of the watch, including the lens, resulting from normal use, accidents or misuse
— Damage sustained by the components as a result of contact with moisture or water
— Leather Strap
Please do not engage anyone other than Sekford’s repair centre to conduct inspections or servicing as this will void the guarantee.
Setting the Time
Pull the crown outwards from its set position (a) so it clicks into the adjustment position (b). You can now move the hands to the desired time by turning the crown clockwise; please do not turn the crown counter-clockwise. Push the crown back in to set.
Please note: While the crown is not in the set position (a), the watch is not moisture resistant.
The following guidelines will ensure your Sekford watch maintains its fine working order and appearance over the duration of its long life.
Use the chamois cloth provided and avoid submerging the watch case in water. The leather strap is a breathing material and may show some white grease markings at times – this is perfectly normal. Please use the cloth provided to wipe away any markings.
Avoid placing your watch on electronic units, which can generate powerful magnetic fields.
The battery in your Sekford watch has an estimated lifespan of five years. When your battery requires replacing, please get in touch by emailing email@example.com.
The 3 ATM water resistance rating of your Sekford watch means it is able to withstand everyday use, including exposure to humidity and light rain. However, you should avoid wearing the watch whilst in contact with water to preserve the long life of the leather strap.
Whether thermal or other, avoid them.
Avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, cosmetic products etc., as they may damage the leather, case or the gaskets.
Avoid extreme temperatures above 60°C (140°F), below 0°C (32°F), or drastic temperature changes.

Whether it’s a battery change, new gaskets, ultrasonic cleaning of the case and buckle and checking water resistance.
Each service is guaranteed for a period of one year.
Full service is advisable every 18 months.
In the case of our timepieces requiring replacement parts, such as our uniquely shaped mineral glass or gaskets, Sekford holds an inventory of every possible component that could need replacing.
